My 3 year old loves 'Leap Frog!' She used to play it a lot last summer, but when we moved it went to storage. During the 7 months time that she didn't get to play her video game.. she would not sing, or do much. It was like she forgot all the things she'd learned from playing 'Leap Frog.' But, the day it was set up, she started singing again. She was really happy!
Leap frog is really cute. This game has cute characters: Lulu, Nester, Bunbun, and Sami. She counts with them, and sings with them. She's even watched it in Spanish and French.
It seems that this could relate to video games and the baby DVDs. at the same time. It is simple, it's slow (when she presses the button it takes 1 second to register, I think it's not working, but she already understands that it takes a second) amount? not too much-- dispersed throughout the week. .. etc..
Well, my daughter is learning how to share and her younger sisters are learning to play leap frog too! This is exciting for me!!
It's actually called little leaps and this is a picture of her game controller.. :)
Ooh, I've wanted to get one of these for my kids for a while. Glad to hear they are so good!
ReplyDeleteYah, they are good. I'm glad I know it's a video game now. The controller for little leaps also flips to a bigger kid controller, with a stick, and two buttons. We are not ready to let our daughter move to the next level yet.
